Waimea hops were released from Plant and Food Research Centre in 2012, its parentage traces back to Cluster, Saaz and Fuggle.
These hops are high in essential oil. Waimea provides a quality bitterness and aroma, abundant with fruity citrus and pine characters. A big hop, great for big punchy beers!
