Sladek hops originated from a cross of the varieties Saaz and Northern Brewer. This Czech Republic variety was released as VUCH71 in 1987 before breeders renamed it Sladek in 1994.
Sladek offers neutral bitterness with classic noble characteristics and a hint of soft fruit.
