Kohatu Created as a result of a cross between Hallertau Mittlefrüh and a New Zealand Male. Was released in 2011, by the New Zealand Plant and Food Research hop breeding program.
A true dual-purpose variety, Kohatu provides very clean bitterness and mild tropical aromatics.
