Hersbrucker hops originated from the Hersbruck region of Southern Germany, it is now primarily grown in the Hallertau and Spalt region. This delicate aroma hop works particularly well in lager beers, where it adds a refined and subtle hop character. Brewers also use it successfully in cask-conditioned ales, where its delicate aroma complements the beer without overpowering the other flavours.
