Galena Hops originated from an open-pollinated cross of Brewers Gold in Idaho before their commercial release in 1978.
Galena delivers excellent high-alpha performance with balanced bittering potential and a distinctive blackcurrant aroma. It also creates a bold fruity character in a wide range of beer styles.
