Mittelfruh hops are a Noble hop variety, the traditional Hallertau variety. They are widely planted throughout Germany, although the variety's acreage is gradually decreasing due to disease.
Mittelfruh has a delicate aroma profile with refined floral, herbal, and subtle spicy characteristics. As the name suggests, Mittelfruh matures medium to late during the hop growing season.
